In the event of future urban catastrophes
like Hurricane Katrina and the Asian tsunami, Dynalifter Patrollers could
provide persistent search and rescue support, aerial command and control
platforms, and communication with victims on dynamic banners & light
boards, and using loudspeakers. Also, larger Patrollers could become
“aerial cell phone towers” to provide temporary cell phone service when
ground-based infrastructure fails. Aerial cell phone towers would have a
line of sight with a wide geographic area.
